Die MasThis spot is a favorite with local anglers. Not many people go there however, because it is quite a long way to walk. From the parking place, it is close to an hours walk to get to the fishing spot. I would recommend this for only the fittest anglers. Be sure to take enough water as it can get very hot on that stretch of beach. Excellent catches of Galjoen, White Musselcracker, Blacktail, Zebra (Wildeperd), Karanteen (Strepie) and White Steenbras are made. Baits used here are normally red-bait, worms, bloodworm and white mussels. Best times to angle here is during March through October when the South-Easterly winds are blowing. |
